I really love the longer days that we experience during this time of year. The light before sunset is gorgeous and it was a perfect ending to the day when I met and photographed this beautiful family.

I consider family photo sessions to be one of the most important ways to share who you are with future generations. Along with all of the great stories that will be passed along for years and years, you’ll show how beautiful/funny/silly/in love/{i could go on…} your family members are. What a great treat for all who love you!

I had the best time with this family – they know how to have fun and rock a photo session! Oh, and I love how the family dog magically appeared in the first image. I had no idea she was there – so cute!!

This session was a special one to me. As a mom of two sons, being photographed with them means the world to me. I am thankful for the opportunity to spend an afternoon with such great people!

How wonderful it is to celebrate milestones with family! We recently had some high school grads (that post is coming) and we all gathered to cheer their accomplishments. Here are some shots that I got of the first cousins:

I absolutely love photographing a newborn. Even more so now that my lil ones are not so little anymore. I really get my baby fix during these sessions! This lil guy was most adorable and very calm. A real joy to photograph.
